Hetzel Co.—officially Hetzel Construction LLC—is more than a business to us. It’s a family legacy that began in the early 1980s, when our founder, Lawrence H. Deboard, started a small construction operation built on honesty, craftsmanship, and a genuine love for helping people improve their homes.

When Lawrence retired, the company paused for a few years. But family traditions have a way of calling you back. In 2023, his grandson, Luke H. Moore, reopened the doors and began writing a new chapter for The Hetzel Company—honoring the past while building for the future.

Today, Hetzel Co. proudly offers a wide range of services, from home repairs and excavation to full-scale new construction. But at our core, we are still the same family-driven company we were decades ago: a team that believes every project is more than lumber, dirt, or drywall. It’s someone’s vision. Someone’s comfort.
